About Me
I am a New Media Technology major with a strong interest in character design and worldbuilding. I enjoy creating original characters and imagining the different worlds, stories, and environments they could exist in. Whether it is designing a entertaiment animals , or an entire cast of characters from a game, I like exploring how visual design can communicate personality and tell a story. This passion has led me to pursue animation as a career path, where I can bring these ideas to life through movement, storytelling, and visual art. My goal is to work in the animation industry, contributing to projects that inspire creativity and leave a lasting impact on audiences. Through my studies, I hope to continue developing both my technical and artistic skills while building a portfolio that reflects my love for character creation and animation.
Poster
I made this poster as my first assignment in New Media. We learned about text and digital graphics using Illustrator.This poster is for a shop named “OttiesPoP’s Shop” in a fictional theme park, where each part is a different area which are the environments animals live in. This poster was for kids coming to this park during summer break who needed a sweet treat to beat the heat from the sun. These posters will be plastered around the park and on the theme park’s social media to encourage more kids and teens to come over and to have fun. The two choices I made and what I’m proud of, is the “NEW Limited Edition” . I think this grabs the kids attention since it screams “it's very rare!". The second choice is the “In stock until September 22nd” and how small it is, this to me makes this poster seem like it's something you’ll actually see out in a park, city, etc.
Icons
I made these icons to represent different aspects of my daily life. I chose coffee,headphones, and tablet because I drink coffee every day, and the dog represent well me since Im very loyal to others.
Animation
This is my animation assignment (#3). The focus of this assignment was motion, feedback, and revisions. In the second version I refined the movement and timing based on feedback.
